Wart MILLHOG

is a portable right angle I.D. clamping pipe and tube beveling machine that features an efficient low maintenance design. Incorporating a gear drive that is fully supported by dual opposed tapered roller bearings and three heavy duty ball bearings. This gives the Wart the backbone to satisfy a wide variety of applications and is a favorite choice among boilermakers and pipe fitters. All components are made of the finest materials and parts subject to wear are heat treated for durability and long use. Sealed construction prevents debris from getting inside the tool, allowing use in any orientation. What's more the compact design requires a minimum of 2.625" to fit between tubes in a boiler tube waterwall.

Mandrel Kit (1.0"/25.4mm) Part #: H-221

The H-221 mandrel kit is designed to fit both the Wart MILLHOG and Tube Weasel MILLHOG gear head and will allow it to fit in tube with a 1.0” (25.4mm) I.D. The advantage of this mandrel kit is that it uses the same cutterhead and wrench assembly that comes standard on the Tube Weasel and Wart, but allows for slightly smaller I.D. compared to standard. Clamping range with this mandrel kit is 1.0" (25.4mm) I.D. to 1.3" (33mm) I.D.

Mandrel Kit (0.75"/19.1mm) Part #: H-240

The H-240 mandrel kit is designed to fit in the Wart MILLHOG gear head and will allow it to fit in tube with a 0.75” (19.1mm) I.D. This kit comes with a specific cutter head that will fit the smaller 0.75” (19.1mm) shaft along with the draw rod assembly. The clamping range of this mandrel kit is 0.75" (19.1mm) I.D. to 1.28" (32.5mm) I.D.

Z-Wart Configuration Part #: Consult Factory

The Z-Wart MILLHOG incorporates a right angle drive that lowers the rpm by half and doubles the torque at the cutter blade. This makes it well suited for applications that include tube stub removal. Please consult factory for application specifications and ordering information.

Cutting head designed to remove the membrane between tubes on a boiler panel. Membrane heads use MRB-8 Inserts, an 8mm carbide bit, to remove material (same insert for Overlay heads). A specific base cutter head is required for mounting.

Cutting head designed to remove the membrane and overlay on a boiler panel that has been coated with overlay material. Uses the same 8mm insert as the membrane heads to remove material. A specific base head is required for mounting. Slightly smaller circumference compared to the membrane heads, forces the head under hard material.
